kochas.in is a local digital platform intended to help people discover and connect with businesses, services, information and other content related to Kochas and surrounding communities.

The Platform may provide business listings, contact options, ratings, offers, enquiries and other features. Additional services and features may be introduced, changed or removed as the Platform develops.

kochas.in is presently operated by the Kochaswala project founder(s) on an unincorporated basis. Formal business registration (as a proprietorship, LLP or company, as applicable) is in progress. The registered legal name, registration/CIN or LLPIN, and GSTIN (where applicable) will be published on this page once available. Until then, the operator is reachable at the contact details in Section 21.

The Platform may be used only for lawful purposes.

You must provide accurate information when submitting information to kochas.in and must not represent yourself as another person or business.

Where a particular feature, service, transaction or agreement requires a person to be legally capable of entering into that arrangement, the applicable legal requirements will apply.

Businesses or their authorised representatives may submit information for publication on kochas.in.

A business listing may include:

Businesses are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate, lawful and reasonably up to date. This includes information relating to:

kochas.in may correct, update, restrict or remove information where reasonably necessary, including when information is found to be inaccurate, outdated, misleading, unlawful or no longer applicable.

Users and businesses may submit information, photos, videos, logos, descriptions, reviews, ratings or other content through the Platform.

By submitting such content, you confirm that you have the necessary right or permission to submit it and allow kochas.in to display it for the purpose for which it was submitted.

We may make reasonable technical adjustments, such as resizing, formatting or arranging images, so that submitted content displays properly across the Platform.

We aim to keep business descriptions, product information, prices and offers substantially as provided by the business, except where reasonable technical or presentation changes are required.

Users may be able to provide ratings, reviews or feedback about businesses and services listed on kochas.in.

Such content should reflect a genuine experience and should not be knowingly false, misleading, abusive, unlawful or unrelated to the subject being reviewed.

kochas.in may review, moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary, including content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Businesses may contact kochas.in if they believe that a rating or review requires review.

You agree to use kochas.in only for lawful and genuine purposes.

You must not use the Platform to submit false or misleading information, impersonate another person or business, infringe another person's rights, distribute unlawful or harmful material, misuse contact information, send unauthorised spam, interfere with the operation of the Platform, or otherwise use the Platform in a manner prohibited by applicable law.

This clause is intended to support the applicable requirements concerning user rules and prohibited activities under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, as applicable.

kochas.in primarily provides a digital platform through which users may discover businesses and communicate with them.

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular service, kochas.in is not itself the seller, manufacturer, restaurant, clinic, coaching centre, retailer or service provider represented by a business listing.

Information relating to a business, product or service is generally provided by that business.

Accordingly, matters such as product quality, stock, pricing, business timings, order acceptance, fulfilment, delivery and service quality remain primarily between the user and the relevant business.

kochas.in will take reasonable steps to operate the Platform and maintain information submitted to it, but cannot guarantee that every third-party business or piece of information will always be complete, current or available.

Where the Platform provides ordering, booking or transaction-related features, the relevant terms and information will be made available to users before the applicable transaction is completed.

A business remains responsible for fulfilling the product or service associated with an order or booking unless kochas.in expressly states otherwise for that service.

Where applicable, payment, cancellation, refund and other transaction terms will be communicated as part of the relevant service or transaction.

Where e-commerce activities fall within the scope of applicable consumer-protection requirements, kochas.in will seek to operate those activities in accordance with applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as applicable.

kochas.in may introduce additional features, services or requirements from time to time.

Certain features may require additional information, registration, verification, payment or acceptance of additional terms.

Where such requirements apply, the relevant information or terms will be made available before the user uses the applicable feature or service.

The Platform is continuously being developed.

kochas.in may reasonably add, modify, suspend or discontinue features, pages, services or functionality for purposes including development, maintenance, security, operational requirements or improvement of the Platform.

Where a significant change affects an ongoing service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate information to affected users.

The name kochas.in, its logo, website design, software, original text, graphics and other materials created by or for kochas.in are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or commercially used without appropriate permission.

Content submitted by a business or user remains subject to the rights of the person or entity that owns it.

By submitting content, the contributor confirms that they have the right or permission to submit and display that content through the Platform.

We aim to keep the Platform useful, accurate and available. However, information may sometimes become outdated, unavailable or inaccurate because of changes made by businesses, technical issues, third-party services or other circumstances.

kochas.in does not guarantee that:

• the Platform will always be available without interruption;
• every listing will always be completely accurate or current;
• every third-party product or service will be available;
• every offer will remain valid after publication; or
• the Platform will always be free from technical errors.

We will make reasonable efforts to correct material issues when they are brought to our attention.

Your use of kochas.in is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information submitted to or collected through the Platform is handled.

kochas.in may restrict, suspend or remove a listing, submission, account or access to a feature where reasonably necessary, including where:

• the Platform is being misused;

Such third-party services operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Your use of a third-party service is subject to that service's applicable terms.

kochas.in will take reasonable care in operating and maintaining the Platform.

However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, kochas.in will not be responsible for losses arising solely from matters outside its reasonable control, including third-party business conduct, incorrect information supplied by a business, interruption of third-party services, or temporary technical unavailability.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.

We may update these Terms when the Platform, applicable law or our services change.

The updated version will be published on this page with the latest revision date.

Where appropriate, material changes will be communicated through the Platform or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of the Platform after an updated version becomes effective will be subject to the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Rohtas, Bihar.
